DWIH COFFEE TALK #5 : Our Hydrogen Future
The fifth DWIH Coffee Talk on Tuesday, October 4, 2021 at 17:00 (JST) / 10:00 (CEST), takes a close look at Germany’s and Japan’s national hydrogen strategies and at current hydrogen energy projects in both countries. Moderator Axel Karpenstein (DAAD Research and Studies) is in conversation with Prof. Dr. Christian Sattler (German Aerospace Center (DLR) / TU Dresden) and Prof. Dr. Tatsuya Kodama (Niigata University), together they will examine the promises and challenges of a hydrogen-based future and opportunities for German-Japanese research and development collaboration.
Sustainable urban innovation in Japan and Germany
On Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 18:00 (JST) / 11:00 (CEST), the mayor of Heidelberg city, Prof. Würzner will elaborate in an input lecture on examples of innovative projects in Heidelberg and discuss with researchers in related fields from Japan and Germany about aspects of innovation, sustainability and the demand of a changing society towards urban spaces.
The event is organised by the Heidelberg University Office, Kyoto (HUOK) in cooperation with the DWIH Tokyo and with the support of Heidelberg city. Language of the event are Japanese and English (simultaneous interpretation will be provided).
