March 4, 2021: EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation Webinar, March 9, 17:00-18:30 (JST), 9:00-10:30 (CET)

Webinar on Sustainable Finance

 ~ Financing for 2050 carbon neutral ~

Japan and the EU now have a common goal of “2050 carbon neutral,” and both industries are interested in how to finance their investments towards this goal. Japan, in November 2020, with the support of industry, joined the IPSF (International Platform on Sustainable Finance), an international collaboration platform for sustainable finance, which was led by the EU. The EU is independently promoting the standardization of sustainable finance, but, toward the common goal of carbon neutral, to exchange opinions on the future direction of sustainable finance by four panelists from Japan and the EU is expected in this webinar.
