The workshop will highlight recent research advances in 2D-materials materials and heterostructures achieved in the Graphene Flagship and Japan. Researchers from the EU Flaghship project and Japan will also be focusing on material production and device fabrication, and exploration of electronic, photonics, and spintronics in novel structures.

This workshop is a follow up to the Japan-EU Workshop held in Tokyo, Japan from 31 October – 2 November, 2015.
