The EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation is pleased to announce a webinar on the European Innovation Council (EIC). Established under the distinguished research and innovative program Horizon Europe, the EIC aims to assist startups and SMEs across their lifecycle, from early-stage research and proof of concept to technology transfer, financing and scale-up. With a total investment of €10 billion, the EIC prioritizes venture development, early-stage deep tech innovation acceleration, and startup support.
This webinar will provide an insight into the organizational structure of top-performing startups supported by the EIC, including the distinctive funding mechanism that combines grants and investments–a hallmark feature of the programme.
