このメッセージはFP7及びHorizon 2020の活動を通じてご連絡先を頂戴した方々に不定期に差しあげております。今回は、Horizon 2020の新型コロナウィルスに関連した臨時公募についてのご案内です。

Horizon 2020の新型コロナへの対応

欧州委員会は、緊急に必要とされるコロナウイルスの研究のために、研究・イノベーションプログラム「ホライゾン2020」でさらに1億2200万ユーロを投じ、５つの公募課題を発表しました。
今回の新たな公募は、診断、治療、ワクチン、伝染病への備えを開発するための18のプロジェクトへの4,820万ユーロの支援、Innovative Medicines Initiativeを通じた診断と治療に関する8つのプロジェクトへの1億1,700万ユーロの投資や欧州イノベーション会議（European Innovation Council）を通じた革新的なアイデアを支援など、これまでの取り組みを補完するもので、欧州委員会と各国の機関との対話から生まれた短期計画、ERAvsCorona Action Planの3つ目を実施するものです。今回の募集で対象となる5つの分野及び予算は以下の通りです。(実施背景・詳細についてはこちら）

Horizon 2020 calls for COVID-19
The Commission has mobilised another €122 million from its research and innovation programme, Horizon 2020, for urgently needed research into the coronavirus.
This new special call under Horizon 2020 complements earlier actions to support 18 projects with EUR48.2 million to develop diagnostics, treatments, vaccines and preparedness for epidemics, as well as the EUR117 million invested in 8 projects on diagnostics and treatments through the Innovative Medicines Initiative, and measures to support innovative ideas through the European Innovation Council. The call implements ERAvsCORONA Action Plan. More information is also available here
