GRANITE provided Online lecture at Deutsch-Japanische Gesellschaft Bonn e.V.

On October 27, 2021, GRANITE – “German Research Ambassadors Network for Industrial Technology Endeavors” was invited by Deutsch-Japanische Gesellschaft Bonn e.V. to talk about their activities. The GRANITE project is part of the research marketing campaign “The Future of Work” by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project is lead by the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology FIT and Lyogroup International. The GRANITE project is an effort to expand international collaborations and build a strong and long-lasting relationship between Germany and Japan. The goal of the project is to establish a sustainable network between partners in applied research and technology that share information, transfer knowledge, and put innovation into practice.

At the online event, Dr. René Reiners, Project Manager & Coordinator at Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) and GRANITE ambassador, gave an online lecture titled “Der Aufbau eines deutsch-japanischen Forschungs- und Wirtschaftsnetzwerks (The establishment of a German-Japanese research and business network), illustrating the GRANITE contributions to promote academic as well as business collaborations between Germany and Japan with various insights into current affairs around the research & industrial settings in both countries.

Sabine GANTER-RICHTER (Network for Science, Bonn), EJEA Managing Member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer, is also a member of the GRANITE ambassadors and kindly supported the online event.
