The Government of Japan has decided to confer decorations on April 29 to Dr. Wolfgang Brenn, EJEA founder, former managing member of the executive committee as well as treasurer and member.

Dr. Wolfgang Brenn is former first secretary for press and culture of the embassy of the federal republic of Germany in Tokyo, former head of project management of the Japanese-German Center Berlin. His many years’ contribution to promoting academic exchanges and mutual understanding between Japan and Germany is honored by the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette by the Japanese government.
